But it didn't take long to realize that being tied to one carrier as a captive agent wasn't the best path for him or his clients. So, in 2009, Zack and Melissa struck out on their own, launching an independent agency that allowed them to shop around for the best options.
We built that business into a success story, serving our community with honesty and care until 2015, when we merged with another local independent agency. For the next decade, we honed our skills under their banner, but eventually, we outgrew the model. We craved the freedom to innovate and grow on our own terms, which led us right back to our roots: starting fresh with Elevate Insurance.
